In the last post we covered Affiliate Marketing, which is promoting merchant’s products and getting paid for your efforts.

Now you may be asking yourself how do I go about doing that?

First off you’re going to need a website so that you can advertise any particular product. If you’re not familiar with building websites or hesitant to learn how to build them then you can rest easy because building or learning how to build a website is not required.

So how does it work then?

Blogs.

They are everywhere on the internet and you may have read a few of them or created some of them yourself. After you’ve decided on a product and received an affiliate link from your chosen merchant and product, it’s as easy as placing the link in the main body of your blog and you’ve created a way for your readers to reach the merchant and hopefully buy their product.

If you’re unfamiliar with blogs and wondering how to start one then I suggest looking into WordPress. This helpful program is designed for creating blogs and no programming or HTML experience is necessary.

It’s called a WYSIWYG, or What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get program and is geared towards those of us with no with no training in this area. Some learning is required but for the most part it’s a fast and easy way to create a blog.

So let’s recap.

To start earning money from home you will need:

1) An affiliate program and product

2) A blog to showcase the product and allow the reader to visit the merchant’s website.

Now of course these are just the basics to get you started and more importantly show you how simple it is to start making money. A lot more is involved in truth and that’s where the Internet marketing courses and products come in.

Since the beginning of the Internet craze, and especially Google, people have been trying to make money online. A lot of trial and error has gone into the process and the individuals who have paved the way for us today have decided to release their work to the public. It may sound silly that they would want to do this because it creates more competition for them but with the size and scope of the Internet and the thousands of products available, there will always be room for affiliate marketers.

This method of making money is one of the cheapest and easiest ways to make money on the internet. It still requires work though. The nice thing about it is that anyone can do it. You don’t need to be 100% proficient with computers, a programmer or even have a college degree. If you have a computer, an internet connection and know the basics of navigating a PC then you can make money with affiliate programs.
